i spy something green...
last week we drove up to taichung to do some grocery shopping. we arrived at our favorite grocery store, jasons market place, and began perusing the liquor isles. our mission was to find brandy (which, oddly, we did not find) but, instead, we came upon a greater find...

So apparently absinthe doesn't actually eat your brain... but it does smell like licorice-flavored paint thinner!

Secondly, Absinthe IS legal in the US now. Your brother has a bottle in his apartment and he and Alex both told me it is legal here now.
