mom on the street

This is a conversation that takes place at least once whenever I go out on the street with Declan (it has been translated for your reading pleasure):

Random Taiwanese Woman: "Oh, how beautiful!"
Me: "Thank you!"
RTW: "Boy or girl?"
Me: "Boy."
RTW: "Oh, how lucky!" (Having a baby that is a boy is a HUGE deal here.)
Me: "Yes."
RTW: "How many months old?"
Me: "Three months."
RTW: "His nose is very long.  How handsome!" (They love how western noses stick out from our faces.)
Me: "Thank you!"
RTW: "Does he drink Mother's milk?" (Yes, they really do ask that question - even men do!)
Me: "Yes."
RTW: "Very good!"
